Cancer mortality rate in different regions of US: The project concentrates on developing a model which would help us predict the cancer mortality rate in different regions of United States. There are several socio-economic factors which influence the death rates, the significance of each factor can be found by statistical analysis. I am motivated to work in on this topic as deaths due to cancer is a genuine concern. It is essential to study a how population groups perceive their cancer risk and how it influences their behavior. Thus, applying multiple linear regression to determine the factors and rate of cancer mortality would be one the best approach in this area of study.
