We sought to define typical trajectories of asthma-wheeze using administrative data from Scotland. This repository contains two scripts and one code list:
- Stata code to define asthma/wheeze at ages 2 to 9 years (for use in script 2)
- Mplus code to implement latent class growth analysis (LCGA), which was used to model asthma/wheeze trajectory groups
- Code list for asthma medication

The use of linked administrative health data from Scotland was approved by the Public Benefit and Privacy Panel, reference 1617-0224, and the South East Scotland Research Ethics Committee 02, reference 18/SS/0117. Authors do not have permission to share patient-level data. Data are available from Public Health Scotland (phs.edris@phs.scot) for researchers who meet the criteria for access to confidential data.
