artbin: A unified Stata package for calculating sample sizes for trials with binary outcomes

This repository contains the Stata package, helpfiles plus code for testing and examples.

Directories

• package: artbin program, associated programs and dialog box and helpfiles.
• testing: testing programs and output.
• examples: code and output for the examples in the accompanying Stata Journal paper (see citation below).

Installation within Stata

You should be able to install this package from SSC, by typing ssc install art.

To install it from github, use one of these:

• github install UCL/artbin, path(package)
• net from https://raw.githubusercontent.com/UCL/artbin/main/package/
