Add asmdef / convert to package?

It would be very heplful if this project was converted to a package and/or asmdef files was added and funtionality moved to namespaces to make it easier to integrate into a project.

Also, is there any plan to make this officialy part of Unity Engine considering how often this functionality is needed?
