Arm Controller Rev. B

I appreciate the naming ๐Ÿ˜.

Still more stuff to review, this is just first impressions and most of the issues I've noticed.

Schematic

Looks nice. Obviously the first board worked, so no major changes is good. Nice attention to detail on the jumpers for the encoder inputs.

  • Some bounding boxes would be nice, just to visually seperate the different parts.

TODO (for me):

  • verify the pinouts

Layout

Nice and pretty. I especially like the rounded edges and the improvements in the soldermask.

  • We do have more board space on this one, so even though we haven't had issues with overheating, it would be nice if we could shift things around to increase copper surface area with the power traces.
  • The bottom right screw hole is inside the copper pour of a power trace. The trace should be moved away or at least expand the keepaway zone for the copper pour.

Pre-Beefy!
