Install the Pillow Python library for image manipulation using pip install Pillow.
Remove the .py extension at the end of the script's name and
put the script in the /bin/ or /usr/bin/ directory and use chmod +x to enable execution.
Post issues if you encounter any problems with the script.
Once you placed the script in /bin/ or /usr/bin/, just type in sudo bootsplash in the terminal.
Note: The program must be ran as root!
