- The database updates state. State then updates itself as the database response .
- States data should look like -
- Then each object within the data array gets seperated into six different arrays depending on their phases value. Totalling 6 different arrays. Each array is then passed on through props to 1 specific component. For example the sprint component with have within its props an array, called newData of all the objects with the phases value of 2.
- Within each column component we will iterate through the finalData. For the length of the array there will be one component created per element which will be a EachTask component with the propsObject called finalData. The finalData will display the name of each person and the details of each task.
Issues we ran into. We were unable to assign each form and submit button its own ID. Therefore you can only submit data on the first column, which would indicate phase1. We did not perform the function of deleting or updating items. You can delete buttons by assigning each div an on-click function that pops up with a delete button that finds that div by its object "_id". You can also update items by creating a second on-click of each item to update based on "_id". Lastly on the bottom of the page you can create a clear all button that clears out the database and resets the table.
Stretch! - After all of the above you can create a specific username and login to be able to access different scrum projects based on a username that is stored and assign each scrum project a title.
