VikShell is a custom Linux/Unix shell that provides various commands to perform file and directory operations.
It is a CLI tool that can be used to perform file and directory operations.

The ls
command lists files and directories. It supports the following options:
-r
: Reverse the order of the sort.-v
: Display additional information about each file.
Syntax:
ls [-r | -v] [directory]
The cd
command changes the current directory.
Syntax:
cd [directory]
The mkdir
command creates a new directory.
Syntax:
mkdir [directory]
The help
command displays information about available commands.
Syntax:
help
The word
command reads the number of words in a text file. It supports the following options:
-n
: Ignores newline characters.-d
: Compares the word sizes of two text files.
Syntax:
word [-n | -d] [file_name1] [file_name2]
The dir
command creates a directory and changes the path to that directory. It supports the following options:
-r
: Removes the directory if it already exists and creates a new directory instead of throwing an error.-v
: Prints a message for each step in the running of this command.
Syntax:
dir [-r | -v] [dir_name]
The date
command returns the last modified date and time of a particular file. It supports the following options:
-d
: Displays time described by STRING.-R
: Outputs date and time in RFC 5322 format.
Syntax:
date [-d | -R] [file_name]
The exit
command exits VikShell.
Syntax:
exit
