address_validator_usps

This simple program:

  • Reads a csv file with addresses
  • Checks if addresses are valid on USPS site
  • Writes addresses with verification data to a new csv file

How to use

Clone this repo

git clone https://github.com/Viktrols/address_validator_usps.git

Create and activate the virtual environment

python -m venv venv
source ./venv/Scripts/activate  # Windows
source ./venv/bin/activate      # Linux or macOS

Install required dependencies

pip install -r requirements.txt

Run the file address_validator.py

python code/address_validator.py

P.S. You can use csv_converter.py and get_headers not only in this project:)
