AcousticAll

AcousticAll is a platform created by Vishnu and Hala, aimed at empowering people with disabilities. The platform focuses on fostering inclusivity, enabling individuals to plan, execute, and collaborate on various activities on an equal footing with others. By bridging silence and building bonds, AcousticAll seeks to showcase the vibrant talents and bright minds of people of determination, proving their worthiness and equality in society.

Project Structure

This repository contains two main folders:

  1. frontend: This folder contains the React.js application for the frontend of AcousticAll. The frontend is responsible for creating an interactive and user-friendly interface, allowing users to engage with the platform seamlessly.

  2. backend: This folder hosts the Node.js backend of AcousticAll. The backend is responsible for handling server-side logic, managing databases, and ensuring smooth communication between the frontend and any external services.

Getting Started

To get started with AcousticAll, follow these steps:

Prerequisites

  • Node.js: Make sure you have Node.js installed. You can download it from nodejs.org.

Installation

  1. Clone the repository to your local machine:

git clone https://github.com/your-username/AcousticAll.git

  1. Change directory to the project folder:

  2. Install dependencies for both frontend and backend:

cd frontend npm install cd ../backend npm install

Running the Application

  1. Start the backend server:

cd backend npm start

The backend server will start running at http://localhost:3000.

  1. Start the frontend development server:

cd ../frontend npm start

The frontend development server will start at http://localhost:3001.

  1. Open your browser and navigate to http://localhost:3001 to access the AcousticAll platform.
