8bit material indecies

Not exactly an issue, but a question. What are the reasons for material indecies being only 8-bit? Are colors used for marking materials?

This is because FVoxelMaterial was a do-it-all material storage. In 2.0 this limitation will be gone, and you'll be able to have material indices of any bit width
