Please note: this is the development repository for Integrate Event Organiser with Maps.
Integrate Event Organiser with Maps is a WordPress plugin that provides mapping integration for Event Organiser.
This plugin requires a minimum of Event Organiser 3.0+.
Each Venue in Event Organiser is automatically mapped to a Location in Geo Mashup so that it is easy to produce maps showing the location of your Event Organiser Events using the Shortcodes or Template Functions provided by Geo Mashup.
The Geo Mashup UI is hidden on Events by default. Geo Mashup Locations are defined solely by the Venues attached to Events. This plugin handles any Venue changes that need to be made to Geo Mashup Locations.
There are two ways to install from GitHub:
If you have downloaded Integrate Event Organiser with Maps as a ZIP file from the GitHub repository, do the following to install the plugin:
- Unzip the .zip file and, if needed, rename the enclosing folder so that the plugin's files are located directly inside
/wp-content/plugins/wpcv-eo-maps-integration - Make sure Event Organiser is activated and configured
- Make sure Geo Mashup is activated and configured
- Activate the plugin
- You are done!
If you have cloned the code from GitHub, it is assumed that you know what you're doing.
