A Na'vi dictionary app written in TypeScript using React Native that runs on Android, iOS, and web

The Web version is deployed at fwew.app

The Na'vi language was created by Paul Frommer for the 2009 James Cameron film Avatar and its upcoming sequels.

Uses the Fwew API to fetch dictionary data

Features

Fwew

  • Search a word and check out its attributes

List

  • View a list of all words that have specific properties

Random

  • View a list of random words

Saved

  • Save results found in search, list, or random for convenient future reference
  • Remove saved words when no longer needed
  • Saved words remain saved between closing and opening the app

Number

  • Translate Na'vi numbers or convert a decimal number into octal or a Na'vi word

Settings

  • Internationalized UI: choose a language for the app interface
    • supported languages: English, German, Dutch, Spanish, and Na'vi
  • Internationalized results: choose a language for result definitions
    • supported languages: Dutch, English, Estonian, French, German, Hungarian, Polish, Russian, Swedish
  • All settings remain saved between closing and opening the app
