Rectangular torus drawn by code in Godot Engine.
I wrote this for one of my game project. You can use it directly or modify it. Here's some gif of project 
Script has 5 exported variables:
-Inner Radius: Inner radius of torus
-Outer Radius: Outer radius of torus
-Detail: Vertex count of torus will be made
-Complete Proccess: Torus's current complete percentage (1 = complete torus, 0.5 = half torus)
-Animation Speed: Speed of animation which you see in gif
