Simple Chrome extension to watch YouTube videos with VLC

Install

  • Run sh ./install.sh to setup the native host package (allowing to launch VLC app).

  • Load this extension from Extensions panel (chrome://extensions/)

    • Check Developer mode
    • Click Load unpacked extension…
    • Navigate to the extension’s folder and click OK
    • Copy/past extension ID from Extensions panel to the native script installer prompt.

  • You're done !

Uninstall

Run sh ./uninstall.sh and remove the plugin in Extensions panel
