You will need to have Node JS installed on your pc.
To get this version, you can use the apt package manager. Refresh your local package index first by typing:
sudo apt update
Then install Node.js:
sudo apt install nodejs
Check that the install was successful by querying node for its version number:
node -v

Install NPM:
sudo apt install npm
Install yarn via npm
It is recommended to install Yarn through the npm package manager, which comes bundled with Node.js when you install it on your system.
Once you have npm installed you can run the following both to install and upgrade Yarn:
npm install --global yarn
