Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Eiichiro Oda (serialized in Shueisha's shōnen manga magazine Weekly Shōnen Jump since July 1997) is about the adventures of Monkey D. Luffy, a boy whose body gained the properties of rubber after unintentionally eating a Devil Fruit. With his crew of pirates, named the Straw Hat Pirates, Luffy explores the Grand Line in search of the world's ultimate treasure known as "One Piece" in order to become the next King of the Pirates. Toei Animation produces an anime television series based on the One Piece manga. The database contains 2 tables: canon characters and manga's chapters. ach line from the database corresponds to the character/chapter accordingly. The data was taken from One Piece Wiki which is synonymous with wikipedia for this manga/anime. The tables were obtained using the "rvest" package in R 4.0 and the "SelectorGadet" add-on, which made the work with the site easier.
