Snort Installation Script

install_snort.sh is a simple script for installing the Snort Intrusion Detection System.

Usage

Follow these steps to install Snort using the install_snort.sh script:

Download the Script: Use the following command to download the install_snort.sh script to your system:
```
wget https://raw.githubusercontent.com/YuxiangMa/install_snort/main/install_snort.sh
```
Make the Script Executable: Before running the script, make it executable using the following command:
```
chmod +x install_snort.sh
```
Run the Script: Execute the script using the following command:
```
./install_snort.sh
```
To view the Snort alert log, you can use the following command:
```
sudo cat /var/log/snort/snort.alert.fast
```
