Underwater unit tracks (footsteps decals) are ugly in new engine

Above-water ones aren't much better. The blending is off. Do they use the same tech as explosion scars?

AFAIK explosions scars use a different shader but implement a similar technique

Maybe kill the tracks for all non-tank units? How much footprint should a glaive leave lore-wise anyway? And on cloaked units they look out of place too.
