Postgresql is a database management system. It is used to store data. Pgadmin is a graphical interface for postgres. It is used to manage postgres databases. It is not necessary to use pgadmin, but it is recommended.

Create a .env file to reduce share private information like secret key database settings. This file should be in the root directory of the project and can include the following variables:
ALLOWED_HOSTS=your_allowed_hosts
SECRET_KEY=your_secret_key
DB_NAME=your_db_name
DB_USER=your_db_user
DB_PASSWORD=your_db_password
DB_HOST=your_db_host
DB_PORT=your_db_port
