EvilCorp Ransomware is a malicious software designed to encrypt files on a victim's computer and demand ransom for decryption. This ransomware is intended for educational purposes only and should never be used in real-world scenarios.

Features

EvilCorp Ransomware includes the following malicious functionalities:

  • File Encryption: Encrypts all files in a specified directory and its subdirectories using AES encryption.
  • Ransom Note Generation: Generates a ransom note containing instructions for the victim to pay the ransom.
  • System Settings Modification: Modifies system settings to cause chaos and confusion, such as changing the desktop wallpaper.
  • Display Ransom Instructions: Displays ransom instructions directly on the victim's screen.
  • Delete Shadow Copies: Deletes shadow copies to prevent file recovery.
  • Disable Windows Defender: Disables Windows Defender to avoid detection.
  • Spread Malware: Spreads to other connected devices on the network.
  • Delete System Files: Deletes system files to render the victim's computer unusable.
  • Install Keylogger: Installs a keylogger to steal sensitive information like passwords and credit card numbers.
  • Launch DDoS Attacks: Launches DDoS attacks on targeted websites to disrupt online services.
  • Send Spam Emails: Sends spam emails from the victim's account to spread the malware further.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, ensure you have met the following requirements:

  • Windows operating system
  • .NET 8 Framework installed
  • Visual Studio (for compilation)

Installation

  1. Clone the repository to your local machine:

    git clone https://github.com/evilcorp/ransomware.git
    
  2. Open the project in Visual Studio.

  3. Compile the project to generate the executable file (Ransomware.exe).

Usage

Warning: This ransomware is for educational purposes only. Do not use it for illegal activities.

  1. Open Command Prompt as administrator.
  2. Navigate to the directory containing the Ransomware.exe file.
  3. Run the ransomware executable:
Ransomware.exe
  1. Follow the on-screen instructions to proceed with file encryption and other malicious activities.
