Forked for my Operating Systems Intensive class. In the `master` branch, I implemented the unix utilities find and xargs. I also implemented my own Unix shell, capable of handling pipes and I/O redirection. In the `syscall` branch, I first implemented user-level threads in C and RISC-V. Then, I modified the kernel to include and accommodate a syscall that calls a specified function repeatedly at a specified interval. ---- Original README ------------------------------------------------- xv6 is a re-implementation of Dennis Ritchie's and Ken Thompson's Unix Version 6 (v6). xv6 loosely follows the structure and style of v6, but is implemented for a modern RISC-V multiprocessor using ANSI C.
