This code is designed to scrape all votes from the Canadian Senate. This data may be of use to interested scholars. Currently, the "modern" scraper scrapes votes that have been digitized in tabular format (the 42nd Parliament, 1st session). In the future I will implement scrapers going back to the 35th parliament, data crosswalks, and make available rectangular tidy data for analysis.
Run python scrape_modern.py to scrape votes which have been formally digitized.
