Welcome to the Student Management System repository! This project is a small web application designed to manage student records. It includes features such as user authentication, student details management, and administrative functions.
User Authentication: Users can log in with their credentials to access the system. Student Details Management: Admin can view, add, edit, and delete student details. User Management: Admin can manage user accounts, including adding new users. Session Management: Sessions are used to keep users logged in securely.
index.php: The main login page where users can log in. dashboard.php: Dashboard page displayed after successful login. add_student.php: Page for adding a new student to the system. edit_student.php: Page for editing existing student details. delete_student.php: Script for deleting a student record. student_details.php: Page for displaying detailed information about a student. db_connect.php: PHP script to establish a connection with the MySQL database. style.css: CSS file containing styles for the HTML pages.
Clone the repository to your local machine: bash

Import the database schema from database.sql to your MySQL database.
Update the database connection details in db_connect.php with your MySQL server credentials.
Start a local server or deploy the application to a web server that supports PHP.
Access the application through the browser and navigate to index.php to log in.
Log in using the provided username and password. If you don't have an account, click on the "Create Account" link to add a new user. Once logged in, you will be redirected to the dashboard where you can manage student records and user accounts. Contributing Contributions are welcome!
