Bengal Handicrafts will be a functional e-commerce platform which will provide the opportunity to the consumers as well as the manufacturers to grow in the market through the handicrafts products of West Bengal. We all know that, handicrafts products of Bengal, are in high demand in the world wide market, but due to lack of exposures neither the consumers are getting the products nor the makers are having the enthusiasm to produce much amount of products. Which caused the lack of connection between the consumers and makers and from that the price of the handicrafts products are increasing due to high demand and lack of manufacturing procedure.
To solve this issue, we are a group of 6 people gathered together and created a platform which will solve this issue on a high. Nowadays we all know about the e-commerce platforms like, amazon, filpkart, snapdeal, myntra, meesho (recently launched) and many more. But you have not seen any platfrm which will bring the handicrafts products in your laptops, computers or mobile's screen. That's why we are here, to launch the Karigorer Adda platform to bring the handicrafts products of your choice at your device's screens.
Talking about products we have the main attractions of the handicrafts of Bengal. They are Terracotta Products, Dokra Products, Daker Kaj, Chau Masks, Sarees, Sculptures and many more!
We have used the PHP and MySQL combo here to develope this whole platform which is basically in the form of a website. The front end is developed in PHP, CSS and JS and the back end is built using the MySQL database. Here Apache is also used for the server hostage of the website. This is a proper example of a Full Stack Developement from the developer point of view!
