This project is my method of creating a OpenMapTiles basemap for my WifiDB Project (https://wifidb.net). I have recently switched to using Planetiler (https://github.com/onthegomap/planetiler), however the old OpenMapTiles based scripts are still available at (https://github.com/acalcutt/wdb-map-gen/tree/OpenMapTiles) # Install/run on debian 11 ------------- Installing all needed componenets ------------- cd [your wdb-map-gen directory]/tools/ chmod +x install_tools.sh install_tools.sh (answer y to install the components) ------------- Create planet mbtiles ------------- cd [your wdb-map-gen directory] ./download_sources.sh ./create_centerlines.sh (optional) ./export_mbtiles.sh
