The purpose of this application is to simulate additional load against an application.

Goals:

• Understand the reasons for load testing Rails applications
• Practice writing scripts to simulate load against an application
• Understand the differences between elapsed time from the perspective of your application's code as well as from the perspective of the client
• Understand the concepts of request queueing and server overload
