Addy: You can use https://github.com/sindresorhus/log-symbols to get the colored symbols with windows fallbacks. I would only have the symbols colored so not to be distracting. Could be interesting to maybe have stats through https://github.com/yeoman/insight on which are the most popular violations. I would also include links to more information about the violations and how to fix. Will have more feedback when I see the code 😉

If you only need symbols I have a module with a bunch of symbols that have windows equivalent fallbacks: https://github.com/sindresorhus/figures/blob/master/index.js
