URL shortner application -

  • Although the shorten url will seem to be a long one :-) as backend API is deployed on heroku, but it's just for development/project purpose.

  • Test Credentails to login - Email: adidaspdoshii@gmail.com | Password - test123

Tech stack used -

  • React JS -
  • Material UI for styling

Core Features -

  • User can enter their long url which thry want to be shorten along with the desired name, which would be added as an endpoint to the baseURL.
  • On click on the shortern URL link, the page will be redirected to the desired main url.
  • User Auth by JWT.
  • Email verification with nodemailer and sendgrid.
  • Forgot Password and reset Password.
