wordwise
An Android app using which anybody can learn new words in different languages by playing fun games with animations. Hangman is the classical word guessing game. WordMatch is a game where user simply match the English words with their corresponding translations with simple drag & drops. In Letterbox, users need to find the words hidden in a grid of letters. Finally, in Memory game, users need to reveal the hidden word and translation pairs one by one.
After each game, users can review the words they learned as well as hear the actual pronunciation of the word. The platform gets its power from its users - users provide and evaluate the quality and difficulty of words. User can play games in different difficult levels and feel progress thanks to gamification.
Word server
The word-server is developed as a seperate project.
