The Go specification disallows unused variables, resulting in any unused variables throwing unsilencable compile time errors. This controversial decision, while well intended, can make development unnecessarily cumbersome. This patched version of the go compiler removes these checks, resulting in unused variables being ignored
This compiler should only be used for development purposes, and you should substitute in an official release of the go compiler for any sort of production use.
