"Create tickets from Contact Us form" does not seem to work

"Create tickets from Contact Us form" is set to "Yes" yet it does not seem to do anything when a contact form submission is sent.

Maybe I misunderstood how this works. Is setting "Create tickets from Contact Us form" to "Yes" just a way of setting the email address of "Send Emails To" (for the Magento contact form) to your Zendesk email address? If so then I guess it works...
