JOSS paper

We need to start writing the text for the JOSS submission. Here are the requirements:
I have created a hackmd where we can start drafting the paper:
Could we choose soon 1 image for which we have the author permission to show in the draft of the paper? Something like image 121 would be perfect.
@crangelsmith I'll get to work! Is there any reaseon why we can't use one of our own images?
- HackMD (use JOSS paper as an example). keep it short
- Flow chart (see pyveg). Also at to README
- upload images/CSV to Sharepoint
- Copy info from README to HackMD (wait for Camila)
- look at https://github.com/alan-turing-institute/monitoring-ecosystem-resilience/blob/master/pyveg/paper/paper.md
- Camila and Jason clean up repo, and SUBMIT
-
Change the name “generate configuration file” to “read configuration file” and switch the direction of the arrow, because the config file is an input to the process.
-
May say “Pixel intensity thresholding”, instead of only thresholding?
-
Switch the order of boxes “classify surfaces” and “calculate metrics”, we first calculate the metrics and then do the classifications (using some of the metrics).
@crangelsmith New version!
Fantastic @JasonGellis, I'll add it to our README and will open the repo :)
