Prerequisites_

Install kdiff3-qt, git, make, pandoc, m4 , graphviz and python-setuptools using apt-get.
If you want create and view PDF output you will also need to install texlive-latex-base, texlive-fonts-recommended and evince
Follow the instructions to install git-big-picture at https://github.com/esc/git-big-picture
Download the project from the Public repo https://github.com/alecthegeek/version-control-basics
Run make version-control-basics.html
