Installation

Prerequisites

Node.js: This project requires Node.js to run. If you don't have Node.js installed, download and install it from the official website.
MongoDB: This project requires MongoDB to run.

Getting Started

Clone the repository
cd project-folder
You must create a config.js file in config folder and add parameters to connect to the local mongoDb instance:

You must create a user in api_users collection on DB

Use your api-key in the custom header X-API-KEY when making API requests

npm start

Example function

To use the sample function in the config.js file, a valid VirusTotal key must be added.

The function can be invoked by making a GET request to the local address /api/v1/communicatingFilesExample/example.com
