Install Visual Studio Community 2023
The primary compiler provided by that component is cl.exe, which is Microsoft's C/C++ compiler.
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio\2022\Community\VC\Tools\MSVC\14.37.32822\bin\Hostx64\x64\cl.exe
Go to the Terminal menu > Configure Tasks > Create tasks.json file from template > Others. This will create a tasks.json file in the .vscode folder.
