This project is the codebase for the Willand Village Hall website. It's a single page react application initialised with create-react-app.

These instructions will get you a copy of the project up and running on your local machine for development and testing purposes. See deployment for notes on how to deploy the project on a live system.

Installing

A step by step series of examples that tell you have to get a development env running

Install all the required modules

cd web
npm install

Start up the development server

npm start

Running the tests

Deployment

For deployment, just bundle everything up

npm run build

and copy the contents of build/ to the server.

Modifying the site without a developer

If you want to add / modify the contacts on the Contacts page, you can do so without delving into the codebase.

contacts.json is stored in the /data directory, which can be accessed on the server and edited in your text editor of choice.
