Hello! For those of you starting programming here is an example of a simple 2 operator, command line driven calculator. It demonstrates basic usage of many common Java tasks, and should get you on your way to developing in Java.

If this is your first time using java you should google "How to setup Java / JDK in windows"
--Open a command line in windows (This can be done by holding down the windows button and pressing "R", then typing "CMD" in the box that appears.) (Newer windows versions just press "Windows Button" and type "cmd") --Navigate to the folder that contains this code. --Type 'javac JavaCalc.java' and press enter. --This will compile the java class. --Once that has completed run the application by typing "java JavaCalc"
