ANOVA is a collection of statistical models and their associated estimation procedures like variation within and between groups. It is used to study the modification of mþ as the average of the studied phenomenon Y (quantitative/continuous/dependent variable) according to the influence of one or more (qualitative/discrete/independent variable) factors.
