The YT Ad Skipper Chrome extension automatically skips ads on YouTube videos after a specified delay.
To use this extension:
- Clone this repository or download the source code.
- Open Google Chrome and navigate to
chrome://extensions/. - Enable Developer mode by toggling the switch in the top right corner.
- Click on the "Load unpacked" button and select the directory containing the extension files.
Once the extension is installed:
- Visit YouTube page with an ad before or during a video.
- After a delay of 5 seconds, the extension will attempt to automatically skip the ad.
- Automatically skips YouTube ads after a delay.
- Limited to YouTube pages to prevent unnecessary checks on other websites.
You can configure the delay before the ad is skipped by adjusting the settings in the extension's options page.
