This repository contains the files related to the paper 'Using genetic algorithms for advertising campaigns', carried out by Álvaro Seco, Natalia López and Fernando Rubio.
The study of these algorithms was carried out in the Python language and in the Anaconda spyder environment.
The files "GA_APO.py" and "GA_PAPO.py" contain the different genetic algorithms that have been programmed for the problems APO and PAPO respectively.
The file "Dependency_constraints.pdf" contains the dependency constraints among different media group for the three major groups in the population, each of which will have its own dependencies: Youth/Students, Adults/Workers and Seniors/Retired.
