About The Project

Ever wanted to run something as Administrator, just like you do sudo on you Linux/mac or doas in BSD? Now you can do that in Windows too! It is the most simple sudo alternative for windows, with as less bloatware as possible.

Built With

This applicasion was made using:

  • Microsoft Visual Studio 2019 (C++ code)
  • Inno Setup Compiler (Installer exe)

Installation

These are installation steps for the win-doas:

  1. Download the executable windows installer from Releases
  2. Run the installer
  3. Enjoy

Usage

Example:

win-doas cmd

This will open an elevated CMD window.
