Project Overview

The Home Automation System is a device designed to support elderly and disabled individuals in their homes. It utilizes wireless Bluetooth technology to allow users to remotely control and monitor their appliances and devices from a PC, laptop, or Android phone. The system uses low voltage activating methods to provide additional safety and security for users. It also syncs the status of switches across all control systems, allowing users to view the real-time status of their appliances and devices. The HAS aims to improve the quality of life for individuals living at home by providing a user-friendly interface and easy installation process at a relatively low cost. It can be used to control a variety of electrical appliances and devices, including switches, to enhance the standard of living at home.

Problem Statement

The Home Automation System aims to break the barrier between a normal person and a disabled person, ultimately making them less dependent on others to control their life.

Functionality

The product is used for smart home purposes and can be used with or without internet when connected to a Home Assistant. The project currently has the capability to turn switches on and off, acting as an extension cable for electrical appliances. They can be turned on by smartphone, Laptop, or Tablet. Users can also pair their Amazon Echo device to further enhance the experience.
