    • Our goal is to create a platform for everyone to talk with. You can talk to people around the world by using message-board. Sign up or Sign in to enjoy our service!!.
    • users can post article , leave a comment or reply , and will have a personal account center to check your total posts , comments and replies

      • you can now adding color to post , comment , reply , by inputting specific pattern
      (::(red)color name demo::)
(::(#ffaa00)hex value demo::)
      • you can enter color names( html predefined color names ) or hex values to put color on your text

  • Getting Started

    • Requirements

      • ubuntu 16.04 LTS
      • apache 2.4.18(Ubuntu)
      • php 7.0.30-0ubuntu.16.04.1 (cli) ( NTS )
      • mysql Ver 14.14 Distrib 5.7.22 for Linux(x86_64)

    • Clone Repo

      git clone https://github.com/ambersun1234/message-board.git ~/Documents/www

    • Configure The Apache Web Server

      sudo vim /etc/apache/apache2.conf

      change

      <Directory /var/www/>
    Options FollowSymLinks
    AllowOverride None
    Require all granted
</Directory>

      to

      <Directory /home/YOUR_USERNAME/Documents/www/message-board>
    Options FollowSymLinks
    AllowOverride None
    Require all granted
</Directory>

      save and exit and

      sudo vim /etc/apache2/sites-enabled/000-default

      change

      DocumentRoot /var/www/

      to

      DocumentRoot /home/YOUR_USERNAME/Documents/www/message-board

      save and exit and do

      sudo service apache2 restart

    • Configure The Mysql Database

      • set mysql username = 'root' and password = '1234'
      • message board database sql
