Most of our documentation is focused on using the browser, or the basics of setting one up (the dataset setup vignette). If #235 is implemented as described, there will be a need to describe guidelines for object preprocessing for use in the browser (specifically in that case, that using factors for the metadata will result in the menus being ordered according to the levels in the factor).
Regardless, a note on what a "preprocesed" dataset is in the documentation would be useful.
