I made a simplified version of the DNA sequence assembly problem assembling a sequence of fragments into a coherent genetic code of an entire organism. When given a collection of two or more overlapping DNA fragments I align and merge these fragments by choosing the best matches at each step with the goal of ending with a single longer sequence of the fragment.
