The script prompts the user to input a target IP address and a range of ports to scan. It performs port scanning by iterating through the specified range of ports and attempting to establish TCP connections to each port. If a connection is successful, indicating an open port, Wiremap.py logs the port number and halts the scanning process.
In addition to port scanning, Wiremap.py utilizes a separate thread to capture network packets transmitted to or from the target IP address.
