Orama is a React Native project that was developed for Katahack 2020 hackathon competition by 'MulaiAjaDulu' team. Orama was made for children that suffer dyslexia disease to learn through gamification.
To run this application locally, please follow the instructions stated below.
To run this program, please make sure you have Node.js version 12 or higher installed on your computer. If you don't have it yet, you can go to this link to follow the installing instructions.
Open the project's folder. In the root file, run this command in the CMD/terminal to make sure the project's dependencies are installed.
npm install
If you doesn't have expo-cli
in your computer, make sure you download that globally. You can use the following command:
npm install -g expo-cli
After the dependencies have all been installed, run the following command in the CMD/terminal
npm run start
If the apps is ran successfully, your browser will open an expo App. Through there, you can either run the app on a IOS/Android simulator on your computer, or scan the barcode with a phone that has expo installed to run the app on that phone.
