/photosync

A Python script for copying files from a camera or memory card to a directory, in a slightly more content-aware fashion than rsync.

A rsync-like program tailored to synchronising photos from a camera/memory card
with a directory. This has the following differences from rsync:

 1. It understands the numerical, sequential nature of camera DPOF filesystems,
and finds the highest number in the repository and doesn't copy anything
below that (good for when the repository is a temporary holding directory,
whose contents are moved elsewhere), and

 2. It can automatically case-fold filenames to upper- or lower-case.

To use: just make sure there is a Python interpreter in the path (callable
as 'python') and run the 'photosync' script.
