/fss

fast sockstat

Primary LanguageC

Allows ss (socket statistics) to continously output microsecond timestamped
procfs information about current TCP connections. Based on iproute2 "ss -
another utility to investigate sockets."

Usage:

  ss -g

Install:

  sudo apt-get install iptables-dev
  ./configure
  make

Output:

When using the -g option, ss will output data like the following example. The
delimiter between continuous procfs reads is the TIMESTAMP keyword. mono and
real correspond to the timestamps logged using clock_gettime (see `man 2
clock_gettime`).

  TIMESTAMP
  mono	1296043	253642430
  real	1330444244	341364392
